Evening Performances
Outstanding professional artists will join showcase winning student bands and rep bands over three nights of evening performances. All concerts will take place at the Bell Performing Arts Centre. Tickets for all concerts can be purchased at the Bell Performing Arts Centre Box Office. All concerts start at 7:00pm. Tickets

Vocal Jazz Student Showcase
- featuring the best vocal jazz groups of the festival
Junior Rep Band: directed by Mr. Bob Labonte
- made up of outstanding Junior band members nominated by their directors
- The Cheryl Hodge Quartet consists of such jazz heavy weights as John Stowell, guitarist; Rene Worst, bassist; and Buff Allen on drums. Cheryl is fresh from a banner year of singing, recording and touring. We can look forward to a fabulous night of high energy, smokin' hot vocal jazz music.

- made up of outstanding Senior band members nominated by their directors
Miguelito Valdez Latin Jazz Ensemble
- Miguelito Valdes began studying music in Cuba and has performed with many of Cuba's top performers including the Cabaret Tropicana Orquestra, Giraldo Piloto & Klimax, Pablo Milanes, and the Havana Ensemble to name just a few. He now has brought together some of Vancouver's top jazz musicians to give us a sizzling evening of Latin jazz.

Senior Band Showcase
- featuring the best Senior Bands of the festival
- Saxaphonist Tyler Summers is no stranger to the Envision Jazz Festival having adjudicated at the festival for many years. This year National Jazz Award winner Tyler returns with his good friends Matt Wigton and Stockton Helbing with whom he has performed and recorded since 1999. Their latest release, "Live at the Cellar" is due out this fall. The Tyler Summers Trio will give us a night of music that will prove why they are one of the hottest young groups on the jazz scene.
